Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida for a Steel Structure Engineer / Fabrication Engineer. The role involves preparing and reviewing structural designs and fabrication drawings for steel structures, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications. The engineer will perform structural analysis and calculations, coordinate with design, procurement, and site teams, and provide technical support during fabrication, erection, and installation.

Daily responsibilities include checking fabrication feasibility, optimizing material usage, resolving design and site-related issues, and supporting quality assurance and safety requirements.



The role also includes preparing technical documentation, participating in inspections and audits, and collaborating with project managers to meet timelines and cost targets.

STEEL STRUCTURE / FABRICATION ENGINEER

Experience: 7+ Years

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise structural steel fabrication and erection activities at project sites
- Manage site fabrication, fit-up, welding, erection and installation activities
- Review structural drawings, fabrication drawings, shop drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with fabricators, contractors, subcontractors and site teams
- Monitor fabrication quality, dimensions, alignment and erection activities
- Coordinate inspection and testing activities including welding-related inspections
- Monitor manpower, materials, fabrication progress and project schedules
- Identify and resolve site-level fabrication and erection issues
- Coordinate with Civil, Mechanical, Piping and other disciplines
- Maintain fabrication, inspection and progress documentation
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality and HSE requirements

? Candidate Profile

✔ Hands-on fabrication/site experience is mandatory

✔ Oil & Gas / EPIC / EPC project experience preferred

✔ Robust experience in structural steel fabrication and erection

✔ Good understanding of fabrication drawings and site execution

✔ Experience in contractor/fabricator coordination

✔ B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Structural Engineering preferred

✔ Willingness to work at PAN-India project locations

- ⚠️ Important: Candidates should have substantial hands-on site experience in fabrication and erection. Profiles with only design/office-based structural experience may not be suitable.
