Staff Nurse - ICU Required | 110-Bedded Hospital, Trichy

We are a 110-bedded hospital in Trichy with 42 years of trusted healthcare service. We are hiring experienced ICU Staff Nurses to care for critically ill patients as part of a dedicated critical care team. Work in a well-equipped ICU with a supportive team and a stable career.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Provide continuous monitoring and care for critically ill patients
- Monitor vital signs, ECG, SpO2 and other parameters using bedside monitors
- Care for patients on ventilators, including suctioning and airway management
- Administer medications, IV fluids, infusions and syringe pump drugs accurately
- Perform procedures such as catheterisation, Ryle's tube insertion, and wound and pressure sore care
- Assist doctors during intubation, central line insertion and other ICU procedures
- Respond to emergencies and assist in CPR and code situations
- Maintain accurate ICU charts, intake-output records and nursing documentation




- Follow strict infection control and patient safety protocols
- Communicate with patients' families and provide updates and care education

Requirements

- B.Sc Nursing or GNM
- Valid Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council registration
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Staff Nurse, ICU experience preferred
- Knowledge of ventilator care, cardiac monitors, infusion and syringe pumps
- BLS certification (ACLS is a plus)
- Good communication in Tamil and English
- Ready to work in rotational and night shifts
