Role Description The Staff Nurse role at MediVaah is a full-time, in office position based in Sivaganga.
The Staff
Nurse will provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions in accordance with clinical protocols and safety standards. Daily responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, administering medications, assisting with procedures, maintaining accurate patient records, and coordinating care with physicians and other healthcare team members. The role also involves educating patients and families on treatment plans and preventive care, ensuring infection control practices,
and responding promptly to changes in patient conditions.

Qualifications
- Clinical nursing competencies, including patient assessment, medication administration, and basic life support.
- Knowledge of infection control, safety protocols, and standard clinical procedures in inpatient and home-care settings.
- Strong documentation skills for maintaining accurate patient records and care plans.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work responsibly in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Recognized nursing qualification (GNM, BSc Nursing, or equivalent) and valid nursing registration with appropriate council.
- Willingness to work on-site in Sivaganga and provide patient-centered care at homes or clinical locations as required.
- Comfort using mobile applications or digital tools for scheduling, documentation, and coordination of care.
- Previous experience in medical-surgical, community health, or home-care nursing is an advantage.
- Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and continuous professional development.
