Role Description The Staff Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, assisting with procedures, and ensuring adherence to treatment plans.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate patient records, coordinating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and supporting patient education on health, recovery, and preventive care. The role also involves following infection control protocols,



contributing to quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring a safe, clean, and compassionate care environment. This is a full time, on-site role based at Rama Hospital & Research Centre in Mathura.

Qualifications

- Recognized nursing qualification (GNM, B.Sc Nursing, or equivalent) and valid nursing registration with the appropriate council.
- Clinical nursing skills in patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, and post-operative care.
- Strong knowledge of hospital protocols, infection control practices, and basic life support (BLS); advanced life support (ACLS) is an advantage.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work in shifts, manage multiple patients, and respond calmly in emergency and high-pressure situations.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate documentation and using hospital information systems or electronic medical records.
- Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, continuous learning, and participation in training or academic activities.
- Prior experience in a tertiary care or super-specialty hospital is preferred but not mandatory for highly motivated early-career professionals.
