Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Senior Consultant to join our team in Mumbai. This is a client-facing role that involves close collaboration with the client, internal Palladium teams & vendors. The selected candidate will lead project execution, ensure high-quality deliverables, and contribute to day-to-day operations.

The selected candidate will play a critical role in facilitating operations, development planning processes, stakeholder coordination, monitoring mechanisms, and implementation support across strategic urban development assignments.

Qualifications & Experience

- Postgraduate degree in Urban Management, Urban Planning, Construction Management or a related discipline with BE Civil Engineering or Bachelors in Architecture Preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in urban planning, urban development, public policy, infrastructure planning, knowledge management, documentation, reporting, capacity building, stakeholder engagement, MIS reporting, publication development or programme- management assignments.
- Demonstrate experience working on urban governance, smart cities, municipal administration, urban infrastructure, urban mobility, housing, sanitation, or sustainable urban development projects is preferred.
- Experience collaborating with Urban Local Bodies (ULBs), Special Planning Authorities (SPAs)



State Governments, City Development Authorities, multilateral agencies or donor- funded urban programmes is preferred.
- Prior experience in urban development, government projects or donor-funded programmes is preferred.
- Understanding of housing sector concepts, urban governance frameworks, Development Control Regulations (DCR), land acquisition processes, institutional strengthening initiatives and monitoring and evaluation (M&E;).
- Experience in project monitoring, MIS reporting, stakeholder engagement, and programme management.
- Robust analytical, research, report-writing, and presentation development skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and project tracking tools.

- Ability to work effectively with senior government officials, technical consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as the primary point of coordination with clients, government agencies, consultants and key stakeholders.
- Support institutional strengthening, governance frameworks, and operationalization
- initiatives.
- Facilitate planning, policy, and development-related activities and ensure timely execution.
- Manage stakeholder engagement, consultations, workshops, and review meetings.
- Monitor project progress, timelines, risks, and deliverables, ensuring effective project management.
- Develop and maintain MIS reports, dashboards, trackers,



and performance monitoring
- systems.
- Prepare concept notes, policy briefs, presentations, reports, and other project documentation.
- Conduct research, policy analysis, and data-driven assessments to support decision-making
- Draft and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), business processes, and workflow mechanisms.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and support consultant management and project implementation.
- Ensure quality assurance of outputs and adherence to agreed timelines and objectives.
- Support capacity building, knowledge management, and institutional development initiatives.
- Provide strategic inputs and innovative recommendations to strengthen planning, governance, and programme delivery.
