Role Description

We are looking for an SQL Backend Engineer for a full-time, on-site opportunity based in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India.

The role is suitable for fresh graduates and technology professionals interested in SQL development, backend engineering, database development, software engineering, application development, REST APIs, data integration, cloud technologies, and modern software-development practices.

The SQL Backend Engineer will work closely with software, IT, data, analytics, operations, finance, production, supply chain, sales, and other business teams to develop, test, integrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve backend applications, database-driven systems, APIs, SQL queries, data-processing workflows, internal platforms, automation solutions, and enterprise applications.

The role may involve working with SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, SQLite, Java, Python, C#, Node.js, Spring Boot, Django, Flask, FastAPI, .NET, REST APIs, relational databases, cloud platforms, testing tools, and modern backend-development technologies depending on project and business requirements.

Qualifications

- B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA / M.Sc. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
- Freshers and experienced candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with 0–5 years of experience in backend development, SQL development, database development, software engineering, application development, API development, data engineering, web development, or related technology roles can apply.
- Candidates currently working as SQL Backend Engineer, Backend Engineer SQL, SQL Backend Developer, Backend Developer SQL, SQL Developer, Database Developer, Backend Engineer, Backend Developer, Software Engineer,



Software Developer, Application Developer, Data Engineer, Graduate Software Engineer, Junior Software Engineer, or Associate Software Engineer are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates from IT services, SaaS, product companies, technology, consulting, e-commerce, fintech, telecom, analytics, manufacturing, logistics, FMCG, or other industries are welcome.
- Basic to good knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
- Understanding of SELECT statements, joins, subqueries, aggregations, views, stored procedures, functions, triggers, transactions, indexes, constraints, and database relationships.
- Familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, SQLite, or similar relational databases will be beneficial.
- Understanding of database design, normalization, primary keys, foreign keys, referential integrity, schemas, data modeling, and relational data structures will be advantageous.
- Exposure to query optimization, execution plans, indexing strategies, database performance tuning, and efficient query-writing practices will be beneficial.
- Familiarity with one or more backend programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, PHP, or Go will be advantageous.
- Exposure to Spring Boot, Django, Flask, FastAPI, .NET, Express.js, or similar backend frameworks will be beneficial.
- Basic to good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, authentication, authorization, web services, API integration, and system integration.
- Familiarity with CRUD operations, database connectivity, connection pooling, transaction management, and backend data-access patterns will be beneficial.
- Exposure to ORM technologies such as Hibernate, JPA, SQLAlchemy, Entity Framework, Sequelize, Prisma, or similar tools will be considered an advantage.
- Exposure to MongoDB, Redis, or other NoSQL databases will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes, data extraction, data transformation, data validation, data integration, data pipelines, or data-processing workflows will be advantageous.
- Familiarity with Git, GitHub, version control,



branching, pull requests, code reviews, debugging, and collaborative software-development workflows.
- Exposure to Postman, API testing, database testing, unit testing, integration testing, or automated testing tools will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
- Exposure to AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, cloud databases, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar cloud and DevOps technologies will be considered an advantage.
- Basic understanding of Linux, command-line tools, application deployment, configuration management, logging, monitoring, and production-support concepts will be beneficial.
- Exposure to data warehouses, data marts, reporting databases, business intelligence systems, or analytics platforms will be considered an additional advantage.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Looker, dashboards, reporting tools, ERP, CRM, or enterprise applications will be beneficial.
- Basic understanding of database security, user permissions, roles, backups, recovery, encryption, auditing, and data-protection concepts will be advantageous.
- Exposure to microservices, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, message queues, asynchronous processing, distributed systems, or event-driven architecture will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Jira, SDLC, technical documentation, requirements gathering, sprint planning, or issue tracking will be advantageous but is not mandatory.
- Good analytical, logical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication, documentation, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into reliable, scalable, maintainable, and secure backend and database solutions.
- Willingness to work in an on-site environment.
- Internship, academic project, SQL project, database project, backend project, API project, data project, GitHub project, hackathon, freelance assignment, startup project, or open-source contribution will be considered but is not mandatory.
- Candidates without previous full time backend or SQL-development experience can also apply.
- Strong willingness to learn new database technologies, backend frameworks, APIs, cloud platforms, development tools, and modern software-engineering practices.
