1. Educational Qualifications

Mandatory
- Diploma in Sports Coaching from the National Institute of Sports (NSNIS) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institute.

Desirable
- Two-year Master's degree from a recognized Indian University.
- One-year Master's degree from a recognized foreign university in a relevant discipline, such as Sports Management.
- Technical or qualified qualification such as B.Tech., MBA, or an equivalent qualification in a relevant field.

1. Experience

- Minimum 2 years of experience in the sports sector.
- At least 1 year of experience in sports coaching, acquired after obtaining the Diploma in Sports Coaching.

1. Key Responsibilities
2. National Sports Federation (NSF) Coordination: Assist the Senior Development Officer (SDO) in coordinating with assigned National Sports Federations for effective implementation of the Assistance to National Sports Federations (ANSF) Scheme and related activities.
3. ACTC Proposals and Budget Management: Assist in compiling, scrutinizing and processing Annual Calendar for Training and Competitions (ACTC) proposals, budget estimates and other submissions from NSFs, ensuring compliance with applicable guidelines and norms.
4. Coaching Camps and Sports Development Activities: Support the examination and processing of proposals relating to national coaching camps, international competitions, foreign training and exposure,



sports equipment procurement, and engagement of coaches and support staff under the ANSF Scheme.
5. Financial Monitoring and Utilization: Assist in monitoring sanctions, fund releases, expenditure and utilization by assigned NSFs, including scrutiny and follow-up of Utilization Certificates, expenditure statements, advances and other financial documents.
6. Records, MIS and Analytical Reporting: Maintain and update NSF-wise and scheme-wise databases, expenditure statements, pending cases and monitoring reports. Provide analytical inputs to the SDO for reviews and decision-making.
7. Athlete Welfare Schemes: Assist in processing cases relating to Cash Awards, the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay National Welfare Fund for Sportspersons, Pension to Meritorious Sportspersons and other athlete welfare schemes, as per prescribed procedures.
8. Interdepartmental Coordination and Official Communication: Coordinate with NSFs, SAI Centres and Regional Centres, the Ministry and other stakeholders. Assist in preparing official notes, briefs, reports, references, Parliamentary/RTI replies and other communications.
9. Follow-up and Operational Support: Track and follow up on decisions and directions issued by the Competent Authority and Committees, assist in resolving operational issues concerning assigned NSFs, and undertake other duties assigned by the SDO or Competent Authority.
