Position: Speech Therapist

Department: Child Intervention Program (CIP)

Location: Gachibowli and Kukatpally

Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred

Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Speech Therapy with Diploma in Auditory Verbal Therapy (AVT)

NHCDC is looking for a compassionate, committed, and skilled Speech Therapist to join the Child Intervention Program (CIP). The role involves providing individualized speech, language, and communication intervention to children with developmental and communication needs.

The Speech Therapist will work closely with children, parents/caregivers, Developmental Paediatricians, and other multidisciplinary professionals to develop and implement effective intervention plans and support the overall developmental outcomes of each child.

Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for children.
- Prepare and submit assessment reports on a weekly basis as per organizational requirements.
- Provide individualized speech and language therapy based on the goals outlined by the Developmental Paediatrician and the child's intervention plan.
- Develop and implement appropriate therapy strategies based on each child's individual needs and goals.




- Monitor and document the child's progress regularly.
- Maintain accurate and updated clinical records and therapy documentation.
- Complete daily therapy log sheets and other required clinical documentation.
- Provide appropriate guidance and home-based recommendations to parents/caregivers.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and collaborate with other professionals involved in the child's care.
- Modify therapy approaches based on the child's progress and clinical requirements.

Non-Clinical Responsibilities
- Strictly adhere to all Clinical and Non-Clinical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain confidentiality of child and family information.
- Ensure timely completion and submission of all assigned documentation and reports.
- Participate in team meetings, training programs, workshops, and professional development activities.
- Maintain qualified and ethical standards in all interactions with children, families, and colleagues.
- Support a safe, inclusive, and child-centered intervention environment.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Speech Therapy.
- Diploma in Auditory Verbal Therapy (AVT) is required/preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant clinica
