Hiring: South Indian Chef Mysore Cafe | Kanpur

Mysore Cafe is looking for an experienced and reliable South Indian Chef to join our kitchen team. We are a growing South Indian food brand focused on authentic flavours, consistent quality and freshly prepared food.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare South Indian dishes including Benne Dosa, Masala Dosa, Idli, Vada, Kuzhi Paniyaram, Uttapam, Sambar, Chutneys and other South Indian items.
- Maintain consistency in taste, texture, portion size and presentation.
- Handle dosa/tawa operations efficiently during peak hours.
- Prepare batter, chutneys, sambar, podi and other kitchen preparations according to standard recipes.
- Follow exact recipes, measurements and SOPs.
- Maintain hygiene, cleanliness and food-safety standards.
- Ensure minimum wastage and proper storage of ingredients.
- Coordinate with the packing/dispatch team to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain kitchen discipline and support other kitchen stations when required.
- Take responsibility for maintaining consistent food quality even during high-volume periods.

Requirements
- 1–3+ years of experience in South Indian cuisine preferred.
- Strong practical knowledge of dosa, idli, sambar and chutney preparation.
- Good dosa/tawa-handling skills.




- Ability to work quickly and consistently during rush hours.
- Knowledge of basic food hygiene and kitchen safety.
- Reliable, punctual and disciplined.
- Willingness to follow standardized recipes and kitchen SOPs.
- Ability to work as part of a small, fast-paced kitchen team.

Compensation ₹15,000 – ₹22,000/month

Salary will depend on experience and practical skills.

Additional: Performance/attendance incentives may be offered based on role and performance.
