- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, writing performant, maintainable, and clean code
- Build and maintain high-performance, fault-tolerant, and scalable platforms
- Design and develop frameworks to support specific requirements and enable junior developers
- Prepare High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents for assigned modules
- Ensure high-quality deliverables through close collaboration with the team
- Ensure adherence to best engineering and coding practices during development
- Handle customer queries and issues received directly or via the support organization
- Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Validation, Implementation, Support, Documentation, and Solutioning
- Engage with external stakeholders and customers as required
- Lead and mentor team members to ensure effective task execution and timely delivery
Mandatory Skills
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Java 21 and above
- Hands-on experience with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate (5.0) and JPA
- Strong experience in unit testing using JUnit and mocking frameworks like Mockito
- Strong understanding of Spring Core, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL
- Experience with message-oriented middleware such as Kafka and Kafka Connect
- Good understanding of software design patterns
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Docker, Jenkins, and Ansible
- Experience working in Agile development environments
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of microservices architecture
- Exposure to up-to-date UI frameworks such as React or Angular
- Experience in the Payment Gateway domain
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services including EKS, EC2, MSK, ElastiCache, RDS, and replication
- Experience with observability tools such as AWS CloudWatch and ELK Stack
