Role Description The Software Engineer role at Arenalink is a full-time, on-site position based in Indore. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining back-end services and APIs that power the company’s travel and tourism platforms.

The Software

Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, write clean and efficient code, and participate in code reviews. Daily tasks include debugging and optimizing existing systems, implementing new features, ensuring system reliability and performance, and contributing to technical documentation and best practices.



The role also includes working closely with product and operations teams to support ongoing improvements to the customer experience.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience in modern languages commonly used for web applications.
- Hands-on experience with Back-End Web Development, including building and maintaining APIs, services, and integrations.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and their application in designing scalable systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL), version control systems, and basic DevOps or deployment workflows.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an in office team environment, with clear communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in travel, leisure, or tourism technology platforms is an advantage.
