– SOFTWARE DEVELOPER Company: Studio 5 Department: SCT – Software Creation Team Position: Software Developer Location: [Matunga East] Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: [1-3 Years] About the Role Studio 5 is looking for a Software Developer to join the Software Creation Team (SCT) and develop internal software tools that improve productivity, automate manual processes, and support different departments across the organization. The developer will work in 2-week development sprints , participate in daily stand-ups, collaborate with department heads and the SCT Lead, fix bugs, conduct testing, and support the successful launch and maintenance of internal tools. Key Responsibilities
● Develop and maintain internal web/mobile tools and operational dashboards .
● Build process automation scripts and workflow integrations .
● Develop project tracking and real-time status dashboards .
● Automate KPI reporting for departments such as Finance, Sales and CRR.
● Develop features for client portals and CRM systems .
● Build BOQ and estimation calculators for the Design/BOQ team.
● Convert approved requirements and user stories into functional software.
● Work within 2-week development sprints with defined deliverables.
● Participate in daily 15-minute stand-ups and sprint planning.
● Attend weekly demonstrations and incorporate department feedback.
● Identify, troubleshoot and fix software bugs.
● Work closely with QA/testing team during UAT and regression testing .
● Support deployment and access configuration in coordination with IT.
● Maintain proper technical documentation and release notes .
● Prepare documentation/user guides for tools before sprint closure.
● Support post-launch maintenance, bug fixing and enhancements. Required Skills
● Strong programming and software development fundamentals.
● Experience developing web applications, internal tools or business applications .
● Valuable understanding of databases and data handling.
● Experience with API integration and workflow automation .
● Ability to understand business processes and convert them into software solutions.
● Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
● Familiarity with Git/version control and collaborative development .
● Ability to work with existing codebases and improve/maintain applications.
● Understanding of software testing, bug tracking and deployment processes.
