Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Social Media Manager role based in Coimbatore.

The Social Media

Manager will plan, create, and manage content across social media platforms to strengthen Akkenna’s brand presence and engage target audiences.

Responsibilities include developing and executing social media strategies, scheduling posts, monitoring performance metrics, and optimizing campaigns for reach and engagement. The role involves close collaboration with design, content, and product teams to ensure consistent messaging,



as well as active community management through responding to comments, messages, and inquiries.

The Social Media

Manager will stay updated on platform trends and best practices and provide regular reports and insights to guide ongoing improvements.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills for managing campaigns and improving performance across platforms.
- Candidates should possess solid Content Strategy and Writing skills to plan, create, and adapt content for different audiences and channels.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for clear messaging, stakeholder collaboration, and community interaction.
- Experience with analytics tools, social media management platforms, and basic design or video editing tools is beneficial.
- Prior experience in a social media or digital marketing role, preferably in technology or creative industries, is an advantage.
- A relevant degree or certification in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Coimbatore, manage multiple projects, and adapt to a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment.
