About the Role

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to support our social media and digital marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of social media platforms, robust communication skills, and an eye for engaging content.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in planning and executing social media content across platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and X.
- Create engaging captions, posts, reels, and other social media content.
- Support the team in developing and maintaining the social media content calendar.
- Monitor social media trends, hashtags, and emerging content formats.
- Conduct basic research on competitors, audiences, and industry trends.
- Track social media performance and assist with preparing basic reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams for content requirements, approvals, and timely publishing.
- Support social media campaigns, contests, and other digital initiatives.

Requirements





- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good understanding of major social media platforms.
- Creative mindset with an eye for content and visual trends.
- Basic knowledge of Canva or similar content-creation tools is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Prior experience managing social media pages or creating digital content will be an added advantage.
