We're looking for a creative and experienced Social Media Content Creator & Video Editor who knows how to turn raw footage into professional, engaging content for Instagram and TikTok.

We create a lot of videos and need someone who can take ownership of the editing and content creation process. We're not looking for someone who just follows instructions or copies references. We need a person who understands what makes good social media content and can independently come up with ideas, editing styles, and visuals.

Ideally, you've worked with a social media agency, content creation company, or brand and have experience producing content on a regular basis.

What You'll Be Doing

- Edit raw videos into professional, engaging Instagram Reels and TikTok videos.
- Use CapCut and other professional video editing tools to create high-quality content.
- Add captions, transitions, sound effects, music, animations, and other elements that make videos more engaging.
- Create social media posts, graphics, thumbnails, covers, and other visual content.
- Use AI tools to edit and enhance images and videos and make the content creation process more efficient.
- Take raw footage and turn it into finished content without needing detailed examples or constant instructions.
- Come up with creative ideas, hooks, and editing styles that fit the platform and target audience.
- Stay updated with social media trends and understand how to use them in our content.
- Handle content from editing to final delivery while maintaining quality and consistency.

What We're Looking For
- 2–5 years of experience in social media content creation, video editing, or a similar role.
- Strong experience with CapCut and professional video editing.




- Experience creating Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, and other short-form content.
- Knowledge of AI tools for video editing, image editing, and visual content creation.
- A good understanding of storytelling, hooks, pacing, transitions, and audience engagement.
- A creative mindset and a strong sense of what looks professional.
- Someone who can work independently, make creative decisions, and manage their own work.
- Experience working with a social media agency, content production company, or brand is a plus.
- A portfolio that clearly demonstrates your editing skills and creativity.

Most Important: You Must Be Independent We need someone who knows what to do when given raw footage.

You should be able to watch a video, understand its potential, and decide how to edit it into engaging social media content without us having to provide examples for everything.

We're looking for someone who can:

- Create professional videos without step-by-step instructions.
- Understand which clips to use, what to remove, and how to make the final video flow.
- Suggest creative ideas and improve content rather than simply following instructions.
- Take responsibility for the quality of their work and meet deadlines.
- Use AI and editing tools to produce better content and work efficiently.

If you need someone to tell you exactly how to edit every video, this position is probably not for you.
