Position: Site Engineer
Department: Operations / Facility Management
Reporting To: Operations Manager / Management
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Location: Multiple Assigned Sites
Minimum Experience: 2 Years
Qualification: B.Tech / BE in Electrical Engineering or MEP Engineering
1. JOB PURPOSE
The Site Engineer will be responsible for the overall supervision, inspection, maintenance coordination, and operational monitoring of multiple assigned sites. The primary responsibility is to regularly visit all assigned sites, ensure that everything is functioning properly, identify issues at an early stage, coordinate with the concerned teams for resolution, and provide timely updates to management.
The Site Engineer will act as a key link between management, site staff, technicians, property managers, clients, and service providers.
1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESA. Overall Site Supervision
- Conduct regular inspections of all assigned sites.
- Ensure that all sites are functioning smoothly and are properly maintained.
- Check the overall condition of buildings, common areas, equipment, facilities, and services.
- Identify operational, technical, safety, cleanliness, and maintenance issues.
- Ensure that site-related issues are reported and followed up until resolution.
- Monitor the overall performance and condition of each site.
B. Technical & MEP Supervision
- Monitor electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, pump, lighting, and other MEP systems.
- Conduct routine checks of electrical panels, generators, pumps, motors, lighting systems, and other equipment.
- Identify technical problems and coordinate with technicians or specialized contractors.
- Follow up on preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Ensure maintenance work is completed properly and within the required timeframe.
- Maintain records of major equipment and maintenance requirements.
- Escalate critical technical issues immediately to management.
C. Manpower Supervision
- Monitor the attendance and deployment of security guards, housekeeping staff, technicians, gardeners, and other site personnel.
- Ensure sufficient manpower is available at each site.
- Check staff punctuality, discipline, grooming, and work performance.
- Verify that employees are carrying out their assigned duties.
- Report absenteeism, manpower shortages, misconduct, or performance issues to management.
- Coordinate with the HR/Admin team regarding manpower requirements and replacements.
D. Site Inspection & Quality Control
- Conduct scheduled and surprise site inspections.
- Prepare inspection reports and submit them to management.
- Check housekeeping standards, common areas, equipment rooms, electrical rooms, parking areas, landscaping, and other relevant areas.
- Ensure that services are being provided according to the agreed standards.
- Identify deficiencies and ensure corrective action is taken.
- Monitor whether previously reported issues have been rectified.
E. Complaint & Issue Management
- Receive and monitor site-related complaints.
- Coordinate with the concerned staff or technician for immediate action.
- Track complaints until they are completely resolved.
- Maintain a record of complaints and their status.
- Escalate unresolved or repeated complaints to management.
- Ensure timely communication with the concerned property manager/client.
F. Client & Property Manager Coordination
- Maintain professional communication with property managers, association representatives, clients, and site supervisors.
- Attend site meetings when required.
- Understand site requirements and communicate them to the concerned internal team.
- Provide updates regarding ongoing maintenance and operational matters.
- Ensure client/site instructions are properly communicated and implemented.
G. Preventive Maintenance
- Prepare and monitor preventive maintenance schedules.
- Ensure regular inspection of critical equipment.
- Follow up on servicing and maintenance of electrical and MEP systems.
- Monitor recurring technical issues and recommend corrective measures.
- Maintain records of preventive maintenance activities.
H. Safety & Emergency Management
- Monitor basic safety conditions across all assigned sites.
- Identify electrical, fire, water leakage, structural, or other potential hazards.
- Immediately report serious safety risks to management.
- Coordinate with the concerned team during emergencies.
- Ensure emergency-related complaints are attended to without unnecessary delay.
- Monitor the availability and condition of essential safety equipment.
I. Materials, Tools & Equipment
- Monitor the availability of required materials, tools, and equipment at sites.
- Identify shortages and submit requirements to management.
- Monitor proper usage of company-provided tools and equipment.
- Report damaged, missing, or malfunctioning equipment.
- Coordinate with the procurement/admin team for required materials.
J. Documentation & Reporting The Site Engineer shall maintain and submit:
- Daily/weekly site inspection reports.
- Maintenance reports.
- Complaint status reports.
- Manpower and attendance observations.
- Equipment inspection records.
- Preventive maintenance records.
- Incident and emergency reports.
- Material/equipment requirement reports.
- Photographs and supporting documents where required.
1. DAILY WORK RESPONSIBILITIES
The Site Engineer is expected to:
- Review pending site issues and complaints.
- Visit assigned sites according to the inspection schedule.
- Check manpower availability and deployment.
- Inspect technical and MEP systems.
- Check cleanliness and general site condition.
- Identify new maintenance requirements.
- Follow up on pending complaints and maintenance works.
- Coordinate with technicians and site staff.
- Update management regarding important issues.
- Prepare required reports and records.
1. WEEKLY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete a comprehensive inspection of all assigned sites.
- Review pending maintenance complaints.
- Review manpower performance and requirements.
- Check preventive maintenance activities.
- Identify recurring technical problems.
- Review site material and equipment requirements.
- Submit a weekly operational/site status report to management.
- Follow up on unresolved issues from previous inspections.
1. EMERGENCY RESPONSIBILITIES
In case of major incidents such as:
- Electrical failure
- Water leakage
- Pump failure
- Generator failure
- Fire-related incidents
- Major equipment breakdown
- Safety hazards
- Major client/site complaints
The Site Engineer must immediately:
- Assess the situation.
- Inform management.
- Coordinate with the concerned technician/service provider.
- Take necessary immediate action within the scope of responsibility.
- Monitor the issue until the situation is stabilized.
- Submit an incident report where required.

The Site Engineer will coordinate with:

1. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSEducational Qualification
- B.Tech / BE in Electrical Engineering, or
- B.Tech / BE in MEP Engineering
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in facility management, building maintenance, site supervision, MEP operations, or property management will be preferred.

The Site Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that:

- Technical and maintenance issues are identified promptly.
- Complaints are followed up until closure.
- Manpower is properly deployed and monitored.
- Preventive maintenance is carried out as scheduled.
- Site safety and service standards are maintained.
- Clients/property managers receive proper support.
- Management receives timely and accurate site updates.
- Major issues are immediately escalated.
- No key site issue remains unattended without proper follow-up.
1. ACCOUNTABILITY
The Site Engineer will be accountable for the overall monitoring and supervision of the assigned sites. The position requires regular field visits, active follow-up, effective coordination, and proactive identification of problems. The Site Engineer is expected not only to report problems but also to coordinate with the relevant team and ensure that the issue progresses towards resolution.
1. NATURE OF THE ROLE
This is a field-based, multi-site supervisory position. The employee must be prepared to travel between assigned sites and respond to operational requirements as instructed by management. The role requires a high level of responsibility, coordination, technical awareness, and follow-up to ensure that all assigned sites remain safe, functional, properly maintained, and operationally efficient.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
