Site Engineer – Roles & Responsibilities1. Site Supervision

- Supervise daily construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment at the site.
- Coordinate with supervisors, subcontractors, and workers.

1. Quality Control

- Check the quality of construction work and materials.
- Ensure work follows approved specifications and standards.
- Identify and correct defects or poor workmanship.
- Conduct inspections at different stages of construction.

1. Drawing & Technical Work

- Study and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Coordinate with architects and structural engineers for site issues.
- Prepare or check measurements, levels, and dimensions.
- Report drawing discrepancies and request clarification when required.

1. Progress Monitoring

- Monitor daily and weekly work progress.
- Prepare daily site reports and progress updates.
- Compare actual progress with the project schedule.
- Inform the Project Manager about delays or site problems.

1. Safety

- Ensure workers follow site safety procedures.
- Coordinate with the safety team regarding PPE and protected working practices.
- Report unsafe conditions and incidents immediately.

Material & Resource Management

- Check material requirements and availability.
- Monitor material usage and avoid unnecessary wastage.
- Coordinate material deliveries with the store/procurement team.
- Check materials received at site against required specifications.

1. Coordination

- Coordinate with Project Managers, Architects, Consultants, MEP teams, and subcontractors.
- Attend site meetings and coordination meetings.
- Resolve day-to-day technical and execution issues.

1. Documentation

- Maintain site records, inspection reports, measurements, and work progress.
- Maintain records of materials and manpower.
- Assist with quantity measurements and billing.
- Keep approved drawings and relevant documents updated.

1. Handover

- Inspect completed works and prepare snag lists.
- Coordinate rectification of pending works.
- Assist in final inspection and project handover.

Key skills: Construction knowledge, drawing reading, site supervision, quantity measurement, quality control, communication, problem-solving, and basic computer/AutoCAD skills. Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
