About the Role

Somvli Constructions is looking for an experienced and responsible Civil Site Engineer to manage day-to-day construction activities at project sites.

The candidate should have strong practical knowledge of civil construction and be capable of independently handling site execution, labour, materials, measurements, subcontractors and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage day-to-day civil construction activities at site.
- Execute works as per approved drawings, specifications and project schedule.
- Coordinate with Project Manager, consultants, client representatives and subcontractors.
- Manage labour, supervisors and subcontractors at site.
- Check and maintain proper levels, dimensions, line and alignment.
- Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site records.
- Take measurements and prepare MB/measurement sheets and quantity statements.
- Assist in preparation and submission of RA bills.
- Monitor material requirements and coordinate timely material procurement.
- Check quality of materials and workmanship.
- Coordinate concrete works, earthwork, roads, drainage, structures and other civil works as applicable.
- Ensure proper utilization of machinery, labour and materials.
- Monitor daily quantities and productivity.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with the Project Manager for solutions.
- Ensure work is carried out safely and according to project specifications.




- Maintain inspection requests, test reports and other required site documentation.
- Coordinate with surveyors, laboratory personnel and QA/QC staff.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned works.

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in any of the following will be preferred:
- Road construction
- Highway works
- Bridges and structures
- RCC works
- Building construction
- Drainage and culvert works
- Earthwork, GSB and WMM
- DBM / BC / asphalt works
- Government / PSU / industrial projects

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of civil construction methods.
- Ability to read and understand civil drawings.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Basic knowledge of quantity estimation and BOQ.
- Knowledge of measurements and RA billing.
- Good knowledge of Excel and MS Office.
- Ability to manage labour and subcontractors.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to work at project sites.

Qualification Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Experience

3–8 years of relevant site experience.

Candidates with strong practical site experience will be given preference.

Salary

₹25,000 – ₹50,000 per month, depending on experience and capability.

Salary can be discussed for candidates with strong experience in road, bridge, building or major industrial projects.
