HostNow manages short-term rental properties in the US. We're looking for a General Manager in India to lead our US operations and grow our portfolio.

This is an owner-minded role. We're looking for someone who wants to take real ownership of the business, not simply manage operations. The more you grow the business and the portfolio, the more this role can grow with it.

What you'll doGrow the portfolio by reaching out to US landlords and negotiating short-term operating leases.

Check zoning, permits and STR regulations on every property before we commit.

Analyse the highest-earning rental properties and markets, and produce revenue estimate reports using AirDNA and other estimators.

Oversee remote property setup, including furniture ordering, vendors and timelines.

Create and optimize Airbnb listings for every new property.

Help build out our US management business by onboarding apartments for owners.

Lead our Operations Manager and oversee a team of virtual assistants.

Deliver against clear KPIs for growth and property performance.

Who you areYou have hands-on experience managing short-term rental properties in the US and have overseen a portfolio of US apartments/properties.

You understand the US short-term rental market and have experience working with US landlords, owners and vendors.

You think like an owner — you look for opportunities to grow revenue,



improve performance and build the business, rather than simply completing tasks.

A self-starter who is comfortable with outreach, negotiation and closing.

Organised, and able to manage people you never meet in person.

Comfortable with data and revenue analysis, and able to turn it into transparent reports.

Experienced with Airbnb listings (photos, copy, pricing, amenities), and ideally with managing the performance of multiple properties.

Familiar with US STR regulations, markets and property economics.

A clear communicator with US landlords and vendors.

US short-term rental experience is a requirement for this role. Candidates without experience managing US STR properties or a US STR portfolio will not be considered.

What we offerA fixed salary of ₹50,000–₹100,000 per month, plus a performance incentive tied to KPIs.

A leadership role with real ownership from day one, with significant room for the role and compensation to grow as you grow the business.

A remote setup with a split shift: some India daytime hours plus US overlap.
