Role & responsibilities

- Plant Operations: Manage daily shift production, start-up/shut-down activities, and ensure product outputs conform to specified quality standards.

- Team Leadership: Assign tasks to operators, manage shift schedules, handle attendance, and provide hands-on training to the workforce.

- Safety & Compliance: Execute, maintain, and supervise HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) rules, including executing Permit to Work (PTW) protocols.

- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Quickly respond to equipment failures or process upsets to minimize downtime, and coordinate with the maintenance team.

- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed shift logbooks, generate work orders, and prepare daily production MIS reports.

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: Diploma or Bachelors degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Metallurgical Engineering.

- Experience: 2–5+ years of relevant experience in managing continuous manufacturing or similar industrial setups.

- Core Skills: Solid technical problem-solving, solid communication skills, production monitoring, and team management
