Job Objective To support the Service Department in providing timely technical support, machine servicing, troubleshooting, customer assistance, and maintenance of power weeders and other agricultural machinery manufactured by the company.

Key Responsibilities

- Attend customer service enquiries and understand machine-related complaints.
- Assist in servicing, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of power weeders and agricultural machinery.
- Inspect machines and identify mechanical problems and possible causes.
- Support field service visits, machine demonstrations, installation, and commissioning.
- Guide customers on proper operation, maintenance, safety, and preventive servicing.
- Coordinate with the Production, Quality, Stores, and Sales Departments for service-related requirements.
- Maintain service records, customer complaints, service reports, and spare-parts requirements.
- Follow up on pending service complaints and ensure timely closure.
- Check returned/repaired machines and confirm proper functioning before delivery.
- Assist in identifying repeated technical problems and report them to the concerned HOD.
- Maintain proper usage and care of service tools and equipment.
- Support product testing, trial runs, and new product/service improvement activities.




- Travel to customer locations, dealers, and demonstration sites whenever required.
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain discipline at the workplace.
- Perform other service-related duties assigned by the Reporting Manager / Management.

Required Technical Skills
- Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering principles.
- Basic understanding of petrol/diesel engines and agricultural machinery.
- Knowledge of power transmission, clutch, gearbox, bearings, shafts, belts, chains, etc.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to read basic mechanical drawings and understand machine components.
- Basic knowledge of preventive maintenance and servicing procedures.
- Basic computer knowledge for maintaining service records.

Preferred Candidate A fresher with Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering, who has an interest in agricultural machinery, power weeders, engines, servicing, and field technical support.
