Technical Head to lead and manage end-to-end technical operations, IT infrastructure, system administration, deployment activities, and operational support functions. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth technical operations, minimizing downtime, improving system performance, and leading troubleshooting and implementation activities across multiple environments.

Responsibilities

Technical Operations Management

- Lead daily technical operations and ensure uninterrupted business services.
- Manage enterprise IT infrastructure including servers, storage, virtualization, networking, and endpoint devices.
- Monitor operational health, system uptime, performance metrics, and incident management activities.
- Ensure proper implementation of operational procedures, SOPs, and escalation matrices.
- Handle critical incidents, root cause analysis (RCA), and preventive maintenance activities.

Infrastructure s System Administration

- Manage Windows/Linux server environments and virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Oversee Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file servers, and backup systems.
- Ensure proper configuration and maintenance of network devices including switches, firewalls, routers, and VPN solutions.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure and hybrid environments including AWS, Azure, or private cloud deployments.
- Manage data centre operations, hardware lifecycle, and disaster recovery planning.

Deployment s Project Execution

- Lead technical deployment, migration, image deployment, OS deployment, and software rollout activities.
- Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, and internal teams for implementation and troubleshooting.




- Ensure smooth execution of POC environments, testing, validation, and production deployments.
- Manage patch management, security updates, and change management processes.
- Oversee asset management and technical documentation.

Team Leadership s Support

- Lead L1/L2/L3 technical support teams and field engineers.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and operational training to team members.
- Assign tasks, monitor KPIs, and ensure SLA compliance.
- Conduct technical reviews, audits, and performance evaluations.

Security s Compliance

- Ensure infrastructure security, endpoint protection, and access control management.
- Monitor security incidents and coordinate remediation activities.
- Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and industry standards.
- Maintain backup policies, recovery procedures, and business continuity plans.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field.
- 12+ years of experience in technical operations, infrastructure management, or IT operations leadership.
- Solid hands-on experience with enterprise infrastructure and operational environments.
- Experience managing large-scale deployment and support operations.
