Job Summary
We are seeking delivery-focused Structural Engineers to support a major UK rail infrastructure programmed, turning design, construction and site information into accurate, traceable as-built records for complex structural assets. You will work in an international, multidisciplinary team supporting a UK-based Structural Discipline Lead, with occasional visits to the UK.
Responsibilities
Review and verify drawings, models, calculations, specifications, and construction records to confirm the final as-built condition. Prepare and maintain accurate as-built drawings, models, schedules, and technical documentation while identifying and resolving gaps or inconsistencies in project records through technical queries and engineering judgement. Collaborate closely with engineering, BIM/CAD, and construction teams to address technical and interface issues, and contribute to technical reviews and quality assurance processes to ensure all deliverables remain accurate, traceable, and aligned with project requirements.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in Civil/Structural Engineering with a relevant degree.
- Robust understanding of structural drawings, models, calculations, and specifications.
- Experience in structural construction support, technical reviews, and as-built documentation
- Familiarity with reinforced concrete and structural steel design/construction.
- Effective communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
- Chartered status or working towards ICE, IStructE, or similar professional accreditation.
Qualifications
- Desirable: UK rail project experience and BIM/CAD modelling skills.
Skills
- Interest in digital and AI tools to improve project delivery efficiency.
