Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, you will be hands-on in architecting microservices, optimizing database access patterns, building cloud-native infrastructure on AWS, and integrating modern Generative AI and LLM workflows to accelerate productivity and deliver creative product capabilities.

Timings: 2pm - 11pm IST

What You Will Do

- Core Product Development: Lead the design and implementation of greenfield features and major platform enhancements supporting online lending, underwriting, and servicing workflows.
- Microservices Architecture: Build, deploy, and maintain high-throughput, resilient Python services in a cloud-native microservices ecosystem.
- Generative AI & LLM Integration: Leverage LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and AI coding agents to enhance internal engineering velocity and power intelligent platform features.
- Technical Leadership: Conduct high-standard code reviews, champion software engineering best practices, author technical design docs, and mentor junior/mid-level engineers.




- Cloud & Operational Ownership: Take full ownership of service lifecycles—from system design and CI/CD deployment to production monitoring and observability.

What We Are Looking For

Required Experience:

- Python Backend Expertise: 5+ years building and running production-grade Python services, maintaining ownership through deployment, performance tuning, and incident resolution.
- REST API & Microservices Design: 5+ years designing, consuming, and versioning RESTful APIs within microservice boundaries, maintaining backward compatibility.
- AWS Cloud Stack: Hands-on experience beyond basic usage, specifically with containerized compute (ECS/EKS or Lambda), messaging/queuing (SQS/SNS), S3 storage, and CloudWatch or equivalent observability tools.
- Data Stores: Deep relational data modeling and query performance tuning in MySQL , alongside practical experience with DynamoDB access-pattern design.
- DevOps & Testing: Experience with automated testing (pytest), CI/CD delivery pipelines, incremental rollouts, and Linux troubleshooting.
- Technical Leadership: Proven track record of leading multi-engineer projects end-to-end, writing technical design documents, and growing fellow engineers.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Modern Frameworks & Tools: Experience with FastAPI, SQLAlchemy ORM, React, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Event-Driven Systems: Familiarity with asynchronous architectures, SQS/SNS pipelines, or orchestration platforms like Apache Airflow.
- Advanced GenAI / LLM Engineering: Hands-on work with prompt design, evaluation frameworks, RAG systems, or agentic workflows.
- Fintech & Regulated Data: Domain experience in lending, mortgage origination, or payments, along with web security standards (OWASP, AuthN/AuthZ, secrets management).
