We are looking for a SEBI-registered Category III Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) for its Research team.
The role focuses on fundamental research, financial modelling and sector analysis, with exposure to Indian Equity Markets, Private Equity and Venture Capital and report directly to the promoter.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct fundamental research on portfolio and potential investment companies.
- Build and maintain financial models.
- Analyse company financials and sector developments.
- Prepare and present research reports and investment presentations.
- Track developments and trends within the assigned sector.
- Provide research inputs to the Fund Manager for investment decisions.
- Assist with portfolio risk management.
- Develop deep expertise in the relevant sector.
Sector Expertise We are particularly interested in candidates with strong research experience covering one or more of the following sectors:
Defence | Capital Goods | Pharmaceuticals | Cement | Consumer
Requirements
- 8-15 years of experience in Fundamental Research / Equity Research.
- Strong experience in financial analysis and financial modelling.
- Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Solid analytical, communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with an AIF, Mutual Fund or similar investment-focused organisation preferred.
- CA / CFA / MBA Finance
