About the Role We are looking for an exceptional, hands-on Senior React Native Engineer to own and build the mobile frontend infrastructure for our autonomous agentic AI platform. Our AI agents don't just talk or provide advice—they autonomously negotiate with institutions, resolve complex user workflows, and execute financial and administrative tasks on behalf of our users.

In this role, you will own the entire mobile AI inference stack from real-time streaming user messages to executing inline actionable workflows. You will build high-throughput, offline-first mobile applications capable of delivering sub-second, resilient user experiences for millions of users across diverse network conditions.

Key Responsibilities & Growth Areas

- Real-Time Communication Architecture: Design and build a transport-agnostic real-time message pipeline that works seamlessly across WebSockets, HTTP long-polling, and push notification channels without requiring UI-layer changes.
- Polymorphic UI & AI-Native Rendering: Build extensible, streaming UI rendering infrastructure capable of mapping heterogeneous server payload streams (text deltas, rich cards, inline payment CTAs, score visualizers, and proactive nudges) to dynamic mobile components.
- Offline-First Local Storage: Architect the local data layer using offline-first storage patterns (SQLite / WatermelonDB), including schema migrations, conflict resolution, and background sync strategies.




- Mobile Reliability & Edge Cases: Solve complex mobile edge cases such as app backgrounding/foregrounding state transitions, silent auth token refreshes, network loss degradation, and error recovery UX.
- Performance Optimization: Drive deep Android performance tuning—optimizing memory footprints, leveraging the Hermes engine, and tuning virtualized list rendering (FlatList / FlashList) for smooth 60 FPS performance on low-end hardware.

Must-Have Skills & Requirements

- 3+ years of dedicated React Native experience with production apps successfully shipped and maintained on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
- WebSocket & Real-Time Mastery: Extensive experience managing connection lifecycles, exponential backoff reconnection strategies, heartbeats, and event-driven message handling on mobile.
- Local Data Persistence: Demonstrated expertise with SQLite or WatermelonDB , including schema migrations, local indexing, and offline-first data sync patterns.
- TypeScript Proficiency: Deep experience with strict TypeScript typing, deriving types from backend API contracts (OpenAPI / JSON Schema), and maintaining type safety across state and persistence layers.
- Android Performance Optimization: Proven experience with memory profiling, Hermes engine tuning, frame-drop debugging, and list virtualization.
- Concurrent State Management: Mastery over Redux Toolkit / State Libraries to manage concurrent asynchronous state across networks, WebSockets, and local databases without race conditions.
- Polymorphic UI Component Rendering: Experience mapping dynamic, varied message payloads (streaming text, rich card widgets, actionable elements) into distinct React Native components from a single data stream.
