About Srotas Health
Srotas Health is building AI-powered technology to transform clinical trial recruitment. Our platform helps clinical research sites identify eligible patients, manage recruitment workflows, and engage patients through AI-powered voice, SMS, and digital interactions.
We work with clinical research organizations across the US and UK, solving complex problems at the intersection of healthcare, clinical research, data, and AI.
We are looking for a hands-on QA Engineer who can take ownership of product quality across our platform and help us ship reliable software at speed.
What You’ll Do
- Own end-to-end QA across SrotasIQ's web applications, APIs, integrations, and AI-powered workflows.
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, regression suites, and release validation.
- Test complex clinical workflows including patient recruitment, screening, scheduling, communications, and recruitment management.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, API, cross-browser, and exploratory testing.
- Validate APIs and backend workflows using tools such as Postman or equivalent.
- Test integrations with external systems including EHRs, CTMS platforms, calendars, SMS, email, and voice services.
- Validate AI-powered workflows and identify edge cases where model behaviour or workflow orchestration produces unexpected results.
- Reproduce, document, prioritize, and track defects with clear evidence and steps to reproduce.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, and AI teams throughout development and release cycles.
- Build and maintain automated tests for critical product workflows.
- Help establish stronger QA processes, release criteria, regression coverage, and quality metrics as the platform scales.
- Take ownership of production issues, perform root-cause analysis with engineering teams, and ensure appropriate regression coverage is added.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of hands-on software QA experience, preferably with SaaS products.
- Strong experience testing up-to-date web applications and REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
- Experience with test automation using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
- Ability to query databases and use SQL for data validation and troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of software development lifecycles, CI/CD, and release processes.
- Strong ability to identify edge cases and think beyond predefined test cases.
- Excellent bug reporting and troubleshooting skills.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving remote product environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with healthcare, HealthTech, clinical research, EHR, or clinical trial software.
- Experience testing AI/LLM-based products or conversational AI.
- Experience testing voice, SMS, email, or communication workflows.
- Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR/HL7.
- Experience with performance/load testing.
- Experience incorporating automated QA into CI/CD pipelines.
What Success Looks LikeYou won't just execute test cases. You'll develop a deep understanding of how our customers use the platform, proactively identify failure scenarios, improve our testing processes, and help ensure every release is reliable before it reaches clinical research teams and patients.
Why Srotas? You'll work on real-world healthcare problems where software quality directly matters to clinical operations. You'll work closely with the engineering, product, and AI teams and have significant ownership over how quality engineering evolves as the company scales.
- Interested? Apply with your CV and a brief note about the most complex product or workflow you've tested.
