Role Description The Senior Production Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for overseeing daily production operations in the injection molding facility. This role includes planning and monitoring production schedules, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring productive utilization of machinery, materials, and labor.

The Senior Production

Engineer will lead troubleshooting of process issues, implement corrective actions, and optimize production parameters to meet output, cost, and quality targets. They will supervise and guide production staff, enforce safety and quality standards,



and maintain accurate production documentation and reports. The role also involves driving continuous improvement initiatives, supporting preventive maintenance activities, and collaborating with quality and engineering teams to meet customer specifications and delivery timelines.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Production Engineering, with hands-on experience in injection molding or similar manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in Production Planning and scheduling to manage workflows, resources, and timelines effectively.
- Experience in Quality Control, including monitoring product quality, implementing inspection procedures, and supporting root cause analysis.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills for data-driven problem-solving, process optimization, and performance monitoring.
- Clear and professional Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and guiding shop-floor personnel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing, preferably supplying to Electronics, Home Appliances, or Automotive sectors.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai in a fast-paced industrial environment, with a strong focus on safety and teamwork.
