Job Title: Senior Production Manager – Women’s Occasion & Bridal Couture

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Production Manager to lead and oversee the end-to-end production cycle for our women’s occasion wear and bridal couture collections. This role is central to ensuring that every garment meets the brand’s standard of exceptional craftsmanship, luxury finishing, and timely delivery. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, aesthetic sensitivity, and the ability to manage complex, high-touch production processes.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Coordination

- Develop and manage production schedules for seasonal, capsule, bespoke, and bridal collections.
- Coordinate workflow between Merchandisers, support staff, pattern makers, sample rooms, external vendors, and fabric suppliers.
- Forecast production needs based on buy plans, client orders, and bridal appointments.

Quality Control & Technical Oversight

- Implement quality control standards, ensuring impeccable craftsmanship, fabric handling, embroidery placement, and detailing consistent with luxury couture.

Supplier & Atelier Management

- Source and maintain robust relationships with fabric vendors, embellishment suppliers, artisans, and manufacturing partners.
- Negotiate lead times, pricing, and production capacities to optimize performance and cost efficiency.
- Monitor supplier performance ensures timely deliveries and consistent quality.

Costing & Budget Management

- Prepare cost sheets for each style, ensuring accurate fabric yield, labour costing, and embellishment estimates.




- Manage production budgets while safeguarding quality standards and brand positioning.

Bridal & Custom Order Coordination

- Collaborate with sales and bridal consultants to translate customer requirements into clear production briefs.

Process Optimization & Workflow Systems

- Implement efficient production workflows and tracking systems.
- Identify bottlenecks and introduce improvements in sampling, fabric management, and atelier operations.
- Maintain updated production documentation and style specifications.

Team Leadership

- Supervise and support atelier staff, seamstresses, pattern cutters, and embellishment teams.
- Foster a collaborative environment that prioritizes craftsmanship, innovation, and accountability.
- Train new team members on couture standards and brand expectations.

Logistics & Delivery

- Oversee packaging, quality checks, and handover of finished garments for retail, press, and clients.
- Ensure all orders meet deadlines for bridal appointments, fashion shows, editorial shoots, and client deliveries.

Qualifications & Skills

- 10+ years of experience required.
- Experience with bridal workflows, fitting processes, and customization.
- Exceptional organizational and leadership skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with suppliers and internal teams.
- Proficiency in production management tools, spreadsheets, and tech packs.
