Job Summary

Alankar Automotives India Private Limited is looking for an experienced Senior Production Engineer – CNC to manage CNC production operations, achieve production targets, improve productivity, reduce rejection and downtime, and ensure smooth production processes.

CNC knowledge and practical experience are mandatory for this position.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily CNC production and achieve production targets.
- Plan and monitor production as per machine capacity, manpower and delivery requirements.
- Handle CNC Turning, VMC/HMC and machining operations.
- Monitor machine utilization, productivity, cycle time and OEE.
- Read and understand CNC programs, G-code, M-code, tool offsets and work offsets.
- Troubleshoot CNC machining and production-related issues.
- Optimize machining parameters, tooling and cycle time to improve productivity.
- Monitor tool life, tool consumption and tool setting.
- Read engineering drawings and understand dimensions, tolerances and GD&T.;
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, PPC and Tool Room teams.
- Control rejection, rework and machine downtime.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Implement 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement activities.
- Prepare daily/monthly production, rejection, downtime and efficiency reports.




- Allocate and manage production manpower.
- Lead and guide CNC operators and production team members.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality and production SOPs.

Requirements
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production Engineering or relevant qualification.
- 8–10+ years of relevant experience in CNC production/manufacturing.
- Strong CNC knowledge is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience with CNC Turning / VMC / HMC.
- Knowledge of G-code, M-code, CNC programming, offsets and tooling.
- Good knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T;.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge and Height Gauge.
- Experience in production planning, productivity improvement and cycle-time reduction.
- Knowledge of rejection control, downtime reduction and Root Cause Analysis.
- Good team-handling and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and production MIS.
