- 5+ years of experience in end-to-end product design.

/n

- Strong portfolio showcasing user-centred design solutions with tangible outcomes.

/n

- Excellence in Figma: auto-layouts, components, responsive design, and design

/n /n systems. /n /n

- Deep understanding of UX and visual design, with a high bar for craft and quality.

/n

- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Research.

/n

- Experience designing for B2B, enterprise, or platform applications is highly

/n /n desirable. /n /n

- Comfort working with and experimenting with AI tools across the design process.

/n

- Strong communication and storytelling skills: you can articulate your rationale

/n /n clearly to any audience. /n • Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or equivalent practical experience. /n Key Responsibilities /n /n

- Own end-to-end design for complex features and product areas.

- Translate ambiguous problems into clear, well-reasoned design solutions.

- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI across the product





/n /n lifecycle. /n • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers from discovery through /n delivery. /n • Contribute to and evolve Tekion's design system: components, patterns, and /n documentation. /n /n

- Conduct and synthesize user research to validate and refine design decisions.

- Present design work clearly to stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively.

/n

- Identify opportunity areas where AI can reduce friction or improve user outcomes.

/n

- Maintain design quality and consistency across your product area.

/n

- Mentor and support more junior designers on the team.

/n /n AI Design Competency /n • Comfortable experimenting with AI tools across different stages of the design /n process like research, ideation, prototyping, and documentation. /n /n

- Ability to design features powered by AI while keeping the human in the loop.

- Translate complex system behaviour: predictions, recommendations,

/n /n classifications into intuitive, digestible interfaces. /n • Design AI interactions that users can understand, question, and control surfacing /n confidence, uncertainty, and fallbacks where needed. /n • Familiarity with conversational and multi-turn interaction design within structured /n enterprise workflows. /n • Identify patterns and opportunity areas where AI can be leveraged to meaningfully /n improve user experience. /n • Stay current on AI design trends, tools, and interaction patterns and bring relevant /n learnings back to the team. /n AI Competency – Team-Specific Modules /n Platform & Frameworks /n • Apply and contribute to scalable patterns for integrating AI into platform-level /n components.
