Role & responsibilities

- Work as a Senior Pega Technical Resource and Individual Contributor within the development team.
- Understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements and Pega solutions.
- Design, develop, customize, and enhance Pega applications based on business and technical requirements.
- Review existing applications and recommend improvements to functionality, performance, and maintainability.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including:

- Technical design documents

- Functional architecture

- Logical data models

- Operational procedures

- Application/system design documents
- Analyze application architecture, performance, and quality of service and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Recommend appropriate technical solutions for application and performance-related challenges.
- Develop and maintain application source code using version control and software configuration management tools.
- Provide technical support during UAT, deployment, and go-live activities.
- Create, review, and execute unit test cases to ensure code quality and requirement coverage.
- Support integration, regression, and end-to-end testing activities.
- Log, analyze, track, and resolve application defects using defect tracking tools.
- Provide Level 3 production support and resolve application issues within defined SLAs.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and support application stability and performance.
- Follow established SDLC, development, testing, deployment, and production support processes.
- Track and report project progress, actuals, forecasts, and deviations against project plans and timelines.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
- Mentor team members by sharing Pega technical knowledge, best practices, and application-specific expertise.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, delivery teams, and project managers to resolve technical challenges.




- Participate in technical discussions and contribute to successful project delivery

Preferred candidate profile We are looking for a technically strong Pega Developer / Senior Pega Developer with the following experience and capabilities:

Required Experience & Skills

- 4-9 years of experience in Pega development and application support.
- Strong hands-on experience with Pega PRPC / Pega Platform.
- Experience in designing, developing, customizing, and enhancing Pega applications.
- Good understanding of Pega application architecture and technical design.
- Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in production support / L3 support.
- Good understanding of SDLC and software development processes.
- Experience with UAT, deployment, go-live, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience creating and executing unit test cases.
- Experience with defect tracking and resolution.
- Knowledge of version control and software configuration management.
- Good understanding of application performance and quality of service.
- Ability to prepare and review technical documentation.

Preferred Skills

- CSSA certification is preferred.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Experience mentoring junior developers or providing technical guidance to team members.
- Good understanding of Pega integrations, APIs, workflows, and case management.
- Experience working with business and technical stakeholders.
- Robust communication and documentation skills.
