Role Description The Senior PCB Design Engineer will be responsible for end-to-end design and development of high-quality printed circuit boards for Chordy.ai’s hardware solutions. This contract, in office role based in Bengaluru includes translating electrical requirements into robust PCB architectures, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define specifications, and creating detailed board layouts for both analog and RF systems.

Day-to-day activities involve schematic capture, stack-up definition, placement and routing, design reviews, and working closely with fabrication and assembly partners to ensure manufacturability and reliability. The engineer will troubleshoot and optimize existing designs,



perform design-for-test and design-for-EMC considerations, and contribute to continuous improvement of design standards and best practices.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering with hands-on experience in Circuit Design and system-level hardware integration.
- Demonstrated expertise in Analog design, including signal integrity, noise mitigation, and power delivery considerations.
- Proficiency in Board Layout, including multi-layer PCB design, high-speed routing, and design-for-manufacturing (DFM) principles.
- Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) design, including antenna interfaces, impedance matching, and RF performance optimization.
- Proficiency with industry-standard PCB CAD tools (e.g., Altium, Cadence, Mentor) and related simulation tools.
- Experience working with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors, including defining manufacturing files and resolving production issues.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment, communicate clearly, and document designs thoroughly.
- Experience with compliance and certification processes (EMC, safety, reliability testing) is highly beneficial.
- Prior experience in consumer electronics, IoT devices, or audio/voice-related hardware is a plus.
