Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with business leaders to drive HR strategy aligned with business and plant/operations requirements.

- Manage employee relations, engagement, retention and grievance handling across the workforce.

- Drive talent acquisition, manpower planning and workforce deployment in coordination with business stakeholders.

- Handle performance management, talent development and succession planning.

- Support learning & development, capability building and employee engagement initiatives.

- Ensure adherence to HR policies, labour laws, statutory compliance and disciplinary processes.

- Manage HR MIS, dashboards and workforce analytics for management review.

- Partner with leadership on organizational change, culture and people initiatives.

- Work closely with plant/operations, corporate HR and functional heads to resolve people-related issues.

Preferred candidate profile

- Solid exposure to Plant HR, Employee Relations, Industrial Relations and HR Operations.

- Experience managing both white-collar and blue-collar workforce will be preferred.

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Candidate should be willing to work from Kolkata.
