Preferred candidate profile:

- Leadership skills in managing a team of Application Engineers consisting of experienced and beginner levels of portfolio.
- 18+ years of experience in control Valves and well-versed with Oil & Gas and Power application of control valves, design standards, pneumatic and hydraulic circuits, material selection and assembly and testing standards of valves.
- Ability to read, understand and apply the project EPC specifications while preparing and submitting the proposals.

Job role in brief:

- Leadership skills in managing a team Application Engineers.
- Liaise with senior leadership and executive teams in implementing the business goals and strategies. Contribute positively in building the market strategies.
- Collaborate with Field Sales teams in understanding the key driving factors in winning the projects under bidding, evaluation and finalization.
- Inter-departmental coordination and collaboration for timely and budget-bound execution of the ongoing projects.




- Engage with customers effectively for creating a positive leverage in successfully closing the projects.
- To ensure competitive proposals are submitted to customers before the due date.
- To ensure the quality has no compromise for the submitted proposals, which covers all required aspects as expected by customer.
- To ensure accuracy between estimated project cost Vs actual cost of execution.
- Technical and commercial negotiations with customers to positively close all the points.
- Work with Field Sales team to understand the driving factors in deciding the project award and fine tune the proposal to improve winning chances.
- Work with the suppliers to ensure Koso gets the qualified and most completive quotations to keep the project cost and pricing optimal, which shall play a pivotal role in winning the projects.
- Order management through booking the order on ERP system and manage the change orders time to time which are required to be processed against changes made by customer or improvements suggested by internal teams.
- Project kickoff meetings; internal as well as with customers.
- Suggest and implement the steps to be taken for the quality and most efficient output from the team.
- Market analysis for potential new area of business,



insights into market dynamics and product and solution enhancements to maintain the leadership position in the market.
- Training and skill development of the team to advance the capability of the team to manage the assigned roles and responsibilities.

Knowledge & Educational requirements

- University degree or above, majored in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
