Job Title: Senior Logistics Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Logistics Executive with strong expertise in Breakbulk, Container (FCL/LCL) and Air Freight operations. The role involves end-to-end shipment coordination, freight costing and quotation, Incoterms management, shipping documentation, carrier/vendor coordination and customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare freight estimates and quotations for breakbulk, container and air cargo.
- Source and negotiate competitive freight rates with shipping lines, airlines, NVOCCs, co-loaders and overseas agents.
- Analyse cargo dimensions, weight, OOG/project cargo requirements and recommend suitable transportation modes and routes.
- Plan and coordinate shipments from booking and cargo readiness through pickup, stuffing, vessel/flight allocation, delivery and closure.
- Handle breakbulk and project cargo movements, including vessel coordination, stowage planning, lashing, securing, surveys and port coordination.
- Coordinate with customers, shippers, consignees, truckers, terminals, customs brokers, surveyors and overseas agents.
- Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, demurrage/detention risks and cargo-related issues.
- Handle multiple Incoterms 2020, including EXW, FCA, FOB, CFR, CIF, CPT, CIP, DAP, DPU and DDP.
- Advise customers and internal teams on Incoterms, cost, risk, insurance and customs implications.
- Prepare, verify and manage Master/House Bills of Lading, Switch BLs, Air Waybills and Sea Waybills.
- Handle Switch BL processes and ensure consistency of cargo details and compliance with L/C and contractual requirements.
- Review commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, L/C documents and other shipping documentation.
- Manage original BL release, telex release and surrender processes.
- Ensure compliance with customs, trade,



sanctions and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Maintain shipment records, cost sheets and job profitability reports and support invoicing.
- Identify operational and commercial risks and coordinate appropriate mitigation measures.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with customers, carriers, agents, terminals and logistics service providers.
- Support business development through customer meetings, tenders and service proposals.
- Contribute to process improvements, SOP development and mentoring of junior team members.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Shipping, Maritime Studies, International Trade, Business Administration, Commerce, International Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
- 810 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding/logistics.
- Hands-on experience in Breakbulk, FCL/LCL Container and Air Freight.
- Strong experience in freight costing, quotation preparation and rate negotiation.
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms 2020, Bills of Lading, Switch BLs, Air Waybills and trade documentation.
- Familiarity with L/C and UCP 600 is preferred.
- Established network of carriers, agents and logistics service providers.
