About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior ITAM & Discovery Implementation Specialist to join our Qualified Services team and support the deployment of HCL BigFix Service Management Discovery and Asset Management solutions . The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Discovery, Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Asset Lifecycle Management, Contract Management, and Warranty Tracking, along with a solid understanding of IT infrastructure and asset governance processes.

Key Responsibilities

Discovery & Asset Visibility

- Implement and optimize IT Discovery solutions for infrastructure, application, and asset identification.
- Configure and manage discovery probes, sensors, credentials, and scan schedules.
- Ensure accurate identification, classification, and reconciliation of IT assets across enterprise environments.
- Support CMDB population and maintain asset visibility across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures.

Asset Management Implementation
- Implement and configure Hardware Asset Management (HAM) processes and workflows.
- Design and support end-to-end Asset Lifecycle Management processes, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
- Configure and manage Contract Management and Warranty Tracking capabilities.
- Establish asset governance practices and data quality standards.

Customer Consulting & Professional Services




- Lead customer workshops, discovery sessions, and solution demonstrations.
- Gather and analyze business and technical requirements.
- Provide best-practice recommendations for asset governance, discovery strategies, and lifecycle management.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers throughout implementation and adoption phases.

Technical Leadership & Project Delivery
- Lead end-to-end implementation projects and ensure successful delivery.
- Troubleshoot and optimize discovery, asset reconciliation, and lifecycle management processes.
- Develop implementation documentation, solution designs, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Mentor junior consultants and provide technical leadership across project engagements.

Qualifications & Skills
- 4+years years of experience in IT Asset Management, ITOM Discovery, or related implementation projects.
- Hands-on experience with:
- HCL BigFix Service Management Discovery or
- ServiceNow Discovery and HAM or
- BMC Discovery or
- Device42 or equivalent Discovery/Asset Management platforms
- Strong understanding of:
- Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
- Asset Lifecycle Management
- Contract and Warranty Management
- CMDB and Asset Reconciliation
- Network, Server, Storage, and Cloud Infrastructure
- Proven experience delivering customer-facing implementation and consulting engagements.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- ITIL Foundation Certification.
- Relevant ITAM, HAM, or Discovery certifications.
- Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
