Role Description This is a full-time, in office Senior Interior Designer role based in Guwahati.

The Senior Interior

Designer will lead end-to-end interior design projects, from client consultation and concept development to final execution. Daily responsibilities include understanding client needs, space planning, creating design proposals and mood boards, and selecting materials, finishes, and FF&E; in line with brand standards and budget. The role involves preparing and reviewing construction drawings, coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors, and ensuring on-time, high-quality project delivery.

The Senior Interior

Designer will also mentor junior designers, maintain project documentation, and uphold HomeLane’s commitment to a transparent,



enjoyable design experience for clients.

Qualifications

- Strong Interior Design expertise, including concept development and integration of style, functionality, and client requirements.
- Proficiency in Space Planning to optimize layouts for residential interiors and ensure efficient use of available areas.
- Knowledge of Architecture fundamentals to coordinate with structural elements and building standards.
- Ability to create and interpret detailed Construction Drawings for execution teams and vendors.
- Experience with FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, specification, and coordination.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Several years of relevant experience in residential interior projects, preferably in a similar senior role.
- Proficiency with industry-standard design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar).
- Strong project management, time management, and coordination skills, with attention to detail and quality.
- Effective communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
