Interior Designer & Design Engineer – Interior Manufacturing

Location: Coimbatore

Salary: Up to ₹35,000/month

Experience: 2–5 years

Role Overview

We are looking for an Interior Designer / Design Engineer to join our Coimbatore manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for converting interior designs into production-ready drawings and manufacturing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Create 2D & 3D interior designs based on project requirements
- Prepare detailed production/working drawings for furniture
- Design kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, vanities and other interior furniture
- Prepare BOM, cutlists and manufacturing details
- Coordinate with production, CNC and installation teams
- Ensure designs are practical and suitable for manufacturing
- Check dimensions, materials, hardware and construction details
- Make design modifications based on site and production requirements
- Coordinate with interior designers/clients when required




- Support the production team in resolving design-related issues

Required Skills
- AutoCAD – mandatory
- SketchUp / 3D design software
- Good knowledge of modular furniture
- Strong understanding of plywood, MDF, HDF, laminates and hardware
- Knowledge of furniture construction and manufacturing
- Ability to prepare technical/production drawings
- Good understanding of measurements and dimensions
- Cabinet Vision / Infurnia / Prolance knowledge is an advantage

Ideal Candidate Interior designer + technically strong + manufacturing-oriented.

We are not looking for someone who only creates 3D visuals. The candidate should understand how the furniture will actually be manufactured and installed.

Salary: ₹25,000–₹35,000/month depending on experience and skill.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
