We are hiring a Senior Fire Protection Design & Estimation Engineer for a leading Fire Protection Engineering Company in Chennai.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Fire Protection System Design, Estimation, Hydraulic Calculations, BOQ Preparation, Tendering and Proposal Engineering for industrial, commercial, power, oil & gas, or manufacturing projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and estimation of complete Fire Protection Systems.
- Prepare BOQ, cost estimates, technical specifications and tender documents.
- Design and engineering of:
- Fire Hydrant Systems
- Sprinkler Systems
- Fire Alarm Systems
- Foam Systems
- Clean Agent Systems
- Perform hydraulic calculations and equipment sizing.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, layouts and engineering documents.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and internal project teams.
- Support tendering, proposal engineering and project bidding activities.
- Conduct site visits, surveys and technical requirement assessments.
- Provide technical inputs for business development activities, presentations and solution discussions.

Candidate Profile
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in Fire Protection Design & Estimation.
- Strong hands-on experience in firefighting system design and estimation.
- Good understanding of NFPA / NBC standards.
- Experience in hydraulic calculations, BOQ, costing and tendering.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD and technical drawings.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.

Important: Candidates with core Fire Protection Design & Estimation experience will be preferred.

Pure Sales / Marketing profiles without hands-on Fire Protection Design & Engineering experience will not be considered.
