Responsibilities
- Conducting service, repair and/or installation of Mass Spectrometry and HPLC instruments in accordance with service protocols.
- Diagnosing system failures and determines most effective solution.
- Escalating complex issues to greater level of technical support or quality reporting system.
- Responding to customer support calls within the assigned territory.
This position reports to the Senior Service Manager, Bangalore, and is part of the Field Technical Service located in Bangalore, and will be an in office role.
Opportunities
- Complete and successfully pass assigned training for relevant products and responsibilities.
- Deliver high-quality installation, repair, and maintenance services for mass spectrometry instruments, including escalation support.
- Manage critical service calls with a strong customer-centric approach.
Requirements
- MSc or BE in Electronics or Instrumentation,
with specialization in Analytical Instrumentation.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in the life sciences or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of analytical instrumentation service, particularly mass spectrometry; additional experience in HPLC.
Travel and Driving
- Ability and willingness to travel, overnight/outstation calls with short notice, if required
- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Preferred Experience
- Complex Analytical instrumentation techniques
