We are looking for a highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive Senior Executive - Stores to oversee the seamless flow of materials, maintain inventory accuracy, and support uninterrupted production operations.

Role Overview The Senior Executive - Stores will be responsible for managing end-to-end store operations, including material receipt, inventory control, stock verification, documentation, material issuance, dispatch coordination, and maintaining accurate stock records. The role demands strong operational discipline, documentation accuracy, and excellent coordination across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Material Inward Management
- Receive and verify incoming materials against Purchase Orders, Invoices, Delivery Challans, and supporting documents.
- Inspect received materials for quantity, specifications, quality, and physical condition.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Quality, and User Departments for inspection and acceptance.
- Generate and maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) and related inward documentation.
- Ensure proper identification, labelling, segregation, and storage of all incoming materials.
Material Issue & Outward Operations:
- Issue materials strictly against approved requisitions and authorised requests.
- Verify quantities and specifications before material issuance.
- Maintain Material Issue Slips, Delivery Challans, Gate Passes,
Returnable and Non-Returnable documentation.
- Ensure complete documentation and approvals for every material movement.
- Monitor material returns and update inventory records accurately.
Inventory Management & Stock Control:
- Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, consumables, packing materials, spare parts, and other store items.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile inventory variances.
- Monitor Minimum, Maximum, and Reorder Levels to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Identify slow-moving, non-moving, obsolete, and damaged inventory for management review.
- Implement and maintain FIFO / FEFO inventory practices wherever applicable.
- Support continuous inventory accuracy and process improvement initiatives.
Documentation & Record Management
- Maintain complete and accurate records of GRNs, DCs, Stock Registers, Issue Registers, Gate Passes, and Inventory Reports.
- Ensure timely updating of ERP, Inventory Software, or Excel-based stock records.
- Maintain proper filing systems and traceability of all store-related documents.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and stock movement reports.
- Support internal audits, customer audits, statutory inspections, and certification audits with accurate documentation.
Store Operations & 5S Excellence
- Ensure organised storage and systematic location identification of materials.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety compliance, and 5S practices.
- Prevent unauthorised access and safeguard company inventory.
- Minimise material loss, damage, and wastage through proper handling and storage.
- Coordinate with Security for compliance with gate entry and exit procedures.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Purchase, Production, Maintenance, Quality, Accounts, and Security teams.
- Ensure timely material availability to support production schedules.
- Follow up on pending documentation, shortages, and inventory discrepancies.
- Escalate stock variances, damages, shortages, and irregular material movements to management.
- Contribute to smooth and efficient plant operations through effective coordination.
- Educational Qualification
- Graduate or Diploma Holder in any discipline
- Certification in Stores, Inventory Management, Supply Chain, or Materials Management will be an added advantage
Experience 4-7 years of hands-on experience in Stores & Inventory Management
Experience in a Manufacturing Environment is highly preferred
