About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Purchase Executive to join the procurement team at DTC Capital City, Rajarhat. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in real estate material procurement, vendor management, and purchase operations - and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced,
high-volume construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end procurement of real estate construction materials.
- Evaluate vendor quotations against technical and commercial specifications
required for the project.
- Process material indents and coordinate with the site team for timely
material availability.
- Float BOQ enquiries to suppliers, collect and compare quotations, and
conduct negotiations for the best price, quality, and delivery terms.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders and Work Orders.
- Prepare Indent Forms and Comparison Sheets as part of the procurement workflow.
- Follow up with vendors and suppliers for timely delivery of materials and
Proforma Invoices (advance/COD cases).
- Maintain and update the vendor master database.
- Compare pricing, specifications, packing, and delivery timelines to finalise
the most suitable supplier.
- Conduct periodic stock audits and coordinate with the stores team.
- Liaise with the Accounts Payable team to audit monthly reports and resolve
discrepancies.
- Oversee Quantity Surveying activities including client billing, extra
items, variations, and project costing.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in purchase and procurement, preferably in
real estate or construction.
- Proven experience in procurement of construction and real estate materials.
- Proficiency in preparing Indents, Comparison Sheets, Purchase Orders, and
Work Orders.
- Strong vendor negotiation skills and experience in stock audits.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and purchase documentation.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple teams simultaneously - site, stores,
and accounts.
Good to Have:
- Working knowledge of Farvision ERP or any similar construction ERP system.
