Experience: 5–6+ Years in Solar Projects

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Solar Project Management professional to manage and coordinate project activities from the Bengaluru office. The candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, material tracking, statutory approvals, contract and payment tracking, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, monitor and update project schedules, milestones and critical activities for Solar PV projects.
- Track and coordinate statutory approvals, NOCs, electrical approvals and other project clearances.
- Monitor complete material cycle – requirement, procurement, manufacturing, inspection, dispatch and site receipt.
- Follow up with SCM/Procurement and vendors for critical and long-lead materials.
- Coordinate with Quality team for inspections and material clearances, SCM for MFC, and clients/consultants for MDCC and material approvals.
- Review and track contract clauses, contractual obligations, milestones, LDs, scope and deliverables.
- Coordinate with Commercial & Finance teams for billing, certification, payment milestones and outstanding payment tracking.
- Conduct regular follow-up with Engineering, SCM, Quality, Construction, Commercial, Finance, Contracts and Site teams.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors and subcontractors for approvals,



inspections and closure of pending actions.
- Prepare weekly/monthly project MIS, material trackers, approval trackers, action trackers and management reports.
- Identify project risks, delays and bottlenecks and drive recovery actions and timely escalation.

Core Competencies

- Strong knowledge of Solar PV EPC project execution and project lifecycle.
- Project planning & scheduling and milestone monitoring.
- Statutory approval knowledge and coordination.
- Material planning, tracking and vendor follow-up.
- Understanding of EPC contract clauses and commercial terms.
- Billing, payment and receivables tracking.
- Strong cross-functional and client coordination.
- Valuable understanding of Solar electrical systems, substations, transmission and grid connectivity.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project/Primavera and PowerPoint is preferred.

Candidate Profile

- B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical Engineering – Mandatory.
- 5–6+ years of relevant experience in Solar PV / Solar EPC projects.
- Experience in utility-scale solar projects will be preferred.
- Strong communication, coordination, follow-up and stakeholder management skills.
- Should demonstrate ownership, accountability, problem-solving ability and ability to drive activities to closure.
- Candidate should be capable of coordinating multiple projects/sites simultaneously.
