Role Summary

Responsible for end-to-end build, CI/CD, release, integration, and validation frameworks for telecom software programs. Hands-on in build automation, environment debugging, dependency management, SCM, Jenkins pipelines, and multi-component telecom software integration.

What Youll Do

- Own and improve CI/CD pipeline automation, nightly builds, and software build procedures across multiple releases.
- Drive build automation and coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve submissions and integration issues.
- Troubleshoot build-environment issues, including dependencies, containers, compiler/toolchain, repository, and load/repackaging failures.
- Develop and maintain scripts for automated builds, reporting, validation, and release readiness checks.
- Create and maintain pre-commit, sanity, regression, and UT validation automation using scripting languages.
- Manage SCM, branching strategies, and build workspace practices to optimize submissions and reduce delays.
- Support migration of source code and build assets to central repositories, including versioning of automation scripts.
- Integrate build artifacts with artifact management systems and ensure traceable artifact management.
- Work with Yocto, Buildroot, Meson, and meta-build flows to support component builds and platform integration.
- Automate security and static-analysis flows, reporting, and issue follow-up.
- Support deployment and validation of generated loads on target boards and coordinate with test teams.




- Use AI-assisted development and DevOps tools to accelerate migration, refactoring, and issue analysis.

What We re Looking For (Must-Haves):
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, preferably in the telecom domain.
- 5-10 years of experience in Build and Release Engineering, DevOps, CI/CD, SCM, or telecom software build automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins pipelines, nightly builds, and automated reporting.
- Proficiency with Git, Gerrit, GitLab, Subversion, branching strategies, and code propagation workflows.
- Experience with Yocto, Buildroot, Meson, Make/CMake, Maven/Ant, meta-build flows, and embedded Linux build environments.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, containerized build environments, artifact repositories, and package management.
- Robust scripting and automation skills using Python, Shell, and Groovy.
- Ability to debug complex build failures and environment issues.
- Experience with static analysis, vulnerability scanning, and quality automation tools.
- Understanding of telecom software integration across multiple layers and components.
- Ability to work collaboratively with development, test, platform, vendor, and release teams.
- Good documentation and communication skills.

Good to Have (Optional - only if mentioned):
- Knowledge of C/C++ for build-debug and compilation-error analysis.
- Experience with AI-assisted development and DevOps tools such as Cursor, Copilot, or Lyra.

Qualifications: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, preferably in the telecom domain.
