POSITION OVERVIEW

For our location in Baner, Pune, we are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join the product engineering team enabling digitalization of Wire Harness Production.

Our software division, which specializes exclusively in software, is a world-leading provider of integrated solutions for controlling the production of the wire processing industry, with employees at its headquarters near Munich and branches across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. As part of the team, you will work on the new generation of software for production control in customers' factories, collaborating closely with colleagues across India, Switzerland, and Germany within small, agile teams that rely on modern technologies, frameworks, and tools.

YOUR REMIT

- Drive the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure.
- Bring extensive experience in cloud platforms, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, containerization, and production operations.
- Collaborate closely with software development, QA, security, and IT teams to deliver reliable and efficient software deployment pipelines.

KEY REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE

- Experience: 8-10 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Infrastructure Design: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Build, optimize, and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and reliable software delivery.
- Infrastructure as Code:



Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Containerization: Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Cloud Administration: Administer cloud infrastructure on Azure cloud.
- Monitoring: Monitor application and infrastructure performance using modern observability tools.
- Security: Implement security best practices, vulnerability management, and compliance controls across DevOps processes.
- Deployment Strategy: Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment strategies and release automation.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Automation Scripting: Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Best Practices: Promote DevOps best practices across engineering teams.
- Resilience: Support disaster recovery, backup strategies, and high-availability architecture.

TECHNICAL SKILLS – MUST HAVE

- Hands-on experience with hybrid application ecosystems (Azure cloud and on-premises).
- Extensive experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and container orchestration.
- Proficiency in scripting using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with source code management tools such as Git.
- Strong networking expertise with a solid understanding of DNS, load balancing, SSL/TLS, VPNs, and firewalls across both cloud and on-premises environments, including hands-on experience with cloud networking technologies such as VNets and SDN,



as well as traditional networking infrastructure including switches, routers, hubs, and related enterprise networking components.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, or Datadog.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, secrets management, and security automation.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

TECHNICAL SKILLS – GOOD TO HAVE

- Experience working in manufacturing, industrial automation, or engineering organizations.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes security and policy management.
- Experience implementing SRE practices, SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
- Azure cloud certifications are preferred.
