About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to take hands-on ownership of cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, production reliability, security, and operational excellence.

You will design, implement, automate, and manage scalable and secure infrastructure supporting development, testing, staging, UAT, and production environments.

The role requires strong practical experience across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, DevSecOps, monitoring and observability, and production operations.

You will work closely with engineering, product, QA, and other technology teams to ensure applications can be deployed reliably, operated securely, scaled efficiently, and supported effectively in production.

What You Will OwnCloud Infrastructure &

- Architecture

- Design, deploy, and manage scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure.
- Build and maintain production-grade environments across development, QA, staging, UAT, and production.
- Manage cloud networking, VPCs, subnets, routing, load balancers, IAM, security groups, storage, and compute resources.
- Continuously improve infrastructure architecture for reliability, performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Kubernetes & • Containers
- Manage production workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Configure and maintain Kubernetes deployments, services, ingress, scaling, configuration, and secrets.
- Troubleshoot container and Kubernetes-related production issues.
- Work with Helm and container orchestration practices where required.

CI/CD & • Release Automation
- Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for multiple environments.
- Automate build, testing, security scanning, deployment, rollback, and release processes.
- Establish reliable Git-based development and branching workflows.
- Improve deployment frequency, consistency, and reliability through automation.

Infrastructure as Code
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform or equivalent Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Develop reusable, maintainable infrastructure modules and configurations.
- Support configuration management and environment consistency through automation.

Monitoring & • Observability
- Establish and maintain comprehensive monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability.
- Work with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, and cloud-native monitoring platforms.
- Develop meaningful dashboards, alerts, metrics, and operational visibility.
- Support proactive identification of infrastructure and application performance issues.

Security & • DevSecOps
- Implement DevSecOps practices across development and deployment pipelines.
- Manage IAM,



secrets, certificates, encryption, TLS/SSL, access controls, and security configurations.
- Integrate security and vulnerability checks into CI/CD workflows.
- Support security and compliance requirements relevant to financial technology environments.

Reliability & • Production Operations
- Implement high-availability, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
- Participate in production incident management and ensure timely resolution.
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
- Develop and maintain runbooks, operational procedures, architecture documentation, and recovery processes.
- Continuously improve production reliability and operational resilience.

Must-Have Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or a closely related role.
- Strong hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP), preferably AWS.
- Strong practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including production workloads.
- Strong experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
- Strong experience with Terraform or equivalent Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Strong Linux, networking, scripting, troubleshooting, and production operations fundamentals.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and production observability.
- Solid understanding of cloud security, IAM, secrets management, and secure deployment practices.
- Ability to independently take ownership of infrastructure and production reliability.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS, particularly production-grade cloud infrastructure and networking.
- Experience with Helm, Ansible, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, or comparable tools.
- Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
- Experience with Kafka or other messaging/event-streaming platforms.
- Experience with Redis and highly available databases.
- Experience with API gateways, WAF, and enterprise security controls.
- Experience with GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux.
- Experience with SRE practices, including SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and reliability engineering.
- Experience supporting high-availability or high-transaction systems.
- Experience with multi-region infrastructure or disaster recovery environments.
- Experience supporting production systems with stringent uptime and reliability requirements.
- Fintech, banking, payments, or other regulated-industry experience.

Additional Advantage / Future-Ready Skills
- Experience with platform engineering and building reusable internal developer infrastructure.
- Exposure to policy-as-code, automated governance, or advanced infrastructure security.
- Experience using AI-assisted engineering, AIOps, or intelligent monitoring/automation.
