We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer / Technical Business Analyst who can take strong technical ownership of a Data Platform built around Informatica IDMC and Snowflake .
This is not purely a development role. We need someone who can bridge business requirements, platform architecture and hands-on technical delivery
- understanding what the business needs, identifying where delivery is going wrong, and working with other team members to get it resolved.
What you'll do
- Take technical ownership of IDMC/Snowflake data engineering and integration topics
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technically sound solutions
- Review and challenge technical designs and implementations
- Troubleshoot data pipelines, integrations, transformations and platform issues
- Work hands-on when required to diagnose or resolve complex problems
- Coordinate between business, product/platform teams and other delivery partners
- Ensure requirements are understood and delivered correctly end-to-end
- Improve engineering standards, documentation, testing and delivery quality
- Support platform architecture and continuous improvement
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of Data Engineering experience
- Strong practical experience with
Informatica / IDMC
- Valuable knowledge on Snowflake
- SQL and data modelling expertise
- Experience designing, reviewing and troubleshooting enterprise data pipelines
- Ability to work across developer, technical BA and solution architecture responsibilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Confident working with and challenging external development/delivery teams
- Able to communicate technical issues clearly to business stakeholders
- Independent, proactive and comfortable taking ownership
Most important: Experience within Pharma /
Manufacturing domain , including familiarity with GxP, validation, IQ/OQ/PQ, data integrity and regulated systems.
