About the role

We're looking for a Senior Copywriter who is equally at home in a newsroom pitch and a LinkedIn post. You'll give Communicate India a clear, credible voice across press materials, web, social, email, and long-form content, turning dense business and technology topics into stories that earn attention and move people to act. You'll set the bar for writing quality, shape how our clients' leaders show up in public, and help the writers around you grow.

Required Skills

- Earned media and leadership voice
- Write and edit press releases, media pitches, op-eds, bylines, statements and executive talking point
- Strategist content for senior leaders, building their visibility through LinkedIn posts, articles and newsletters in a voice that sounds like them
- Tie client news to the bigger conversations that matter, such as sustainability, innovation, policy, and the future of work, so stories land beyond the company's own announcements

Owned and digital content

- Create copy for web pages, landing pages, social, email, paid ads and campaign assets
- Develop long-form pieces, newsletters and scripts for podcasts and video
- Write the copy for infographics, carousels and short videos and work with designers and producers to shape the storyline
- Turn a single announcement into a full set of assets: media note, social copy, visual summary and video talking points
- Build story angles and messaging frameworks that link PR goals to digital performance goals
- Start from research, using search trends, social conversation, audience insight and media coverage to find the angle before you write
- Help sharpen pitches for journalists and briefs for creators and influencers
- Own and evolve our brand voice and tone guidelines, keeping every channel consistent
- Review junior writers' work with clear, constructive feedback and coach them toward stronger drafts
- Present and defend your messaging choices to colleagues and clients




- Draft quickly and precisely for reactive and crisis situations, working with legal and leadership
- Support issue monitoring and prepare holding statements and Q&A; for likely risk scenarios
- Apply SEO best practice, and use engagement, conversion, and coverage quality data to improve what you write

What we are looking for

- 6+ years of copywriting experience in PR, communications, agency, or in-house digital content
- A portfolio that shows range, from earned media writing to digital-first copy
- Outstanding command of language, with sharp editing instincts and an eye for detail
- Experience writing to a defined brand voice and adjusting tone for different audiences and platforms
- Working knowledge of SEO, content strategy, and platform conventions, with particular fluency in LinkedIn
- Ease with analytics: you read the numbers and let them shape your next draft
- Familiarity with business and technology sectors, ideally including complex industries such as BFSI, healthcare, infrastructure, or energy
- Strong time management across multiple rapid-moving projects
- A steady career with visible growth, and a wish to build something lasting with us
- Curiosity and a strategic mindset: you ask why before you write, and you enjoy working in small, cross-disciplinary teams
- Confidence in giving and receiving feedback, and the habit of pushing back with reasons
