Job Scope

To analyze multifaceted information and design cost-effective, operationally feasible solutions to meet customer requirements while supporting operations in re-engineering current processes to maintain cost competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

- Liaise with DHL customers and business development staff to understand customer supply chain requirements.
- Provide analysis and design support for new business, operational implementations, and re-engineering initiatives.
- Collect and analyze data related to logistics operations.
- Determine optimal logistics operating solutions for customers.
- Utilize appropriate software tools for developing, modelling, evaluating, and selecting solution options.
- Clearly outline solutions in appropriate formats for customer presentations and participate in these presentations as required.
- Manage consultancy projects as needed.
- Provide guidance to subordinates in complex solutions design.
- Support continuous improvement activities for current operations.
- Act as the internal focal point for access to Logistics Solutions expertise.




- Develop effective customer presentations of the appropriate solutions as part of pursuit teams.

Experience & Qualification
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years of logistics solution design experience or 12+ years of logistics operations management in warehousing or transport.
- Consulting experience is desirable.
- Degree in a relevant discipline (engineering degree preferred).

Skills and Competencies
- Knowledge of warehousing, transportation, and broader supply chain topics.
- Strong knowledge of the logistics business.
- Advanced computer proficiency.
- Understanding of modelling/simulation/CAD tools such as Paragon, CAPS, CAST, AutoCAD, or CLASS (desirable).
- Knowledge of process flow diagrams and time & motion studies.
- Solid analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Commercially astute with a customer-centric approach.
- Self-starter, result-driven, flexible, and innovative.
- Reliable team player with tenacity and an energizing presence.
